Un peligroso caso de profecía autocumplidora en Augusta 2012
Una profecía autocumplidora se produce cuando alguien anticipa que algo supuestamente negativo o no deseado puede suceder y luego esla principal responsable (por acción o por omisión) de que eso efectivamente se termine cumpliendo.

Más allá de la revelación de algunas intimidades que pueden causar incomodidad en el lector (al menos yo experimenté eso por momentos)y de lo que realmente haya motivado la publicación de este libro (fuese por enojo, algún tipo de despecho, por dinero, por llamar la atención, en un intento de reivindicación por sentirse criticado en su tarea, con la intención de dejar útiles lecciones, o lo que fuese), The Big Miss: My Years Coaching Tiger Woods, escrito por Hank Haney acerca de su relación de seis años como entrenador de uno de los más grandes golfistas de la historia, es un texto atractivo para analizar múltiples asuntos.
Provee interesantes observaciones y confidencias en un detrás de escena al que pocas veces se accede.
Este es un hombre que trabajó con Tiger durante seis años en los cuales lo vio cerca de 110 días cada año e intercambió llamadas o mensajes de texto otros 100 días anualmente. Se puede decir que, aún desde su perspectiva (subjetiva y con distorsiones como todas), realmente conoce la historia desde adentro.
